To be worn during sports activities, EPITACT® blue nail protectors have a dual action:
They prevent the formation of blue nails and blisters;
They relieve pain linked to lesions already formed (blue, broken and damaged nails, blisters).
As a result, you can continue your activity while maintaining your performance.
How do they work?
Sport nail protectors are made from EPITHELIUMTACT 02, a silicone gel that absorbs pressure and micro-shocks on the nail.
Thanks to its excellent viscoelastic properties, just one millimetre of gel thickness is enough for full effectiveness, without creating bulk in the shoe. What's more, they offer ideal support thanks to the elasticity of the materials.
Instructions for use
Wash before 1st use and after each use.
Use blue nail protectors on clean, dry skin.
Do not shorten the pads, as this reduces their strength.
Remove protection every evening to avoid the risk of maceration.
Keep the protection in the metal bag provided until the next use.
Contraindications for silicone nail protectors
Do not use on skin lesions.
For people with diabetes, arteritis, neuropathy of the lower limbs or varicose ulcers: ask your doctor or chiropodist for advice, and monitor your foot during use.

How do I care for my nail protectors?
Sports nail protectors can be washed by hand (without rubbing) with soap and water. Leave to dry naturally. Discard and replace the device as soon as any cracks appear in the gel or any damage to the fabric or seams.
What's the difference with EPITACT® fingerpads?
While finger cots incorporate EPITHELIUM 26®, a silicone gel that distributes pressure very effectively, blue nail protectors are made from EPITHELIUMTACT 02, which has the ability to absorb micro-shocks on the nail. What's more, blue nail protectors are specially designed for sports use, thanks to their reinforced support.
How to choose the right size?
Choosing the right size of sports nail protector depends on your gender and the toe to be protected. Refer to the available size chart. They are available in 3 sizes to suit the big toe as well as the 2nd and 3rd toes. Longer, these three toes are more often subject to pressure and microtrauma in footwear.
