CATHERINE

Catherine was born and raised in Montreal. She had a stellar junior career being ranked 1st in Québec and top 5 in Canada. At the age of 18, she went on a scholarship to play NCAA division 1 College Tennis at Saint Mary’s College of California. She graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports and Recreation Management. Catherine competed on the professional circuit and reached a career high WTA ranking of 734 in the world, while traveling the world to play tournaments. Over the last few years, she has been coaching all levels of play and cannot wait to share with you all her tennis knowledge over the upcoming season.

 

JACK

Jack first picked up a tennis racket as soon as he was able to walk. Since then, his passion for the game has only grown. Having played competitively in Quebec growing up, Jack is capable of coaching children and adults of all levels. During his post-secondary and university studies, Jack coached tennis and hockey at Lower Canada College where he worked with kids between the ages of 5 and 17. During this time he also worked at the Hillside Tennis Club running their pro-shop and doubling as a hitting partner for adults. Not long after Hillside, and right before he began his marketing career, Jack took his talents to The Monkland Tennis Club where he was a hitting partner for their adult members. Last summer, he reignited his passion for coaching and is eager to share his energy and passion for tennis through private and group lessons with you. Having graduated his Instructors coaching certification with honours, he is scheduled to complete his Tennis Canada Club Pro 1 coaching certification this Spring. See you on the courts!
